Directions:

1) Preheat the oven to 450-F. In a mixing bowl, sift together the oats, whole wheat flour, salt, and baking powder.

2) Add the honey and coconut milk, then stir in the milk. Mix until just combined and there are no visible lumps left. Let sit for ten minutes, until oats are softened.

3) Pour into a greased loaf pan and let bake for 20 minutes, or until it sounds hollow when tapped on the top. Let cool, or serve warm from the oven.

*Recipe notes:

  • You can use reconstituted milk powder in lieu of fresh milk.
  • Any heart-healthy vegetable oil is fine instead of coconut oil.

For An Extra Boost Against The Virus…

You can add dried cranberries (or even currants)

Any of these fruits naturally go well with the oatmeal in this quick bread…

And all of them (cranberries especially) are packed with a secret weapon that has extensive anti-viral properties: [1]

Vitamin C!

In fact, did you know that hospitals in New York have started giving people with the C-virus IV vitamin C… and it appears to be helping?

It’s true… though you’re unlikely to be able to find IV Vitamin-C most places these days (since they need it on the front lines of this horrible pandemic).

There IS a form of vitamin C that’s almost as bioavailable as IV vitamin-C though… and it’s still being made and shipped directly from the manufacturer.

But supplies come in waves… so if you don’t have access to cranberries or currants right now… or even if you do… this is probably one of the best available ways right now to give your immune system a HUGE boost:
