Today’s question is a great one for anyone feeling discouraged by their exercise plan. The question is, “Can I lose weight even if I can’t exercise?”

Now generally, weight loss tends to focus a lot on exercise. So, I understand that you might feel discouraged about losing weight if you can’t exercise or don’t want to.

However, it is certainly possible to lose weight without exercising. So this is for you, if you’re recovering from surgery, have physical limitations, or simply don’t have time or energy to exercise regularly.

2) Add more vegetables.

Leafy greens like kale and spinach, and cruciferous vegetables, like broccoli and cauliflower, are low-calorie foods that can keep you full by eating larger quantities of them. They’re also packed with fiber and nutrients that are great for weight loss.

3) Drink more water.

I know you’ve heard this over and over again, but that’s because it’s true. Boosting your water intake can help you shed pounds and keep you feeling fuller longer. Now, drink at least eight glasses of water a day… but if you want, you can up this number to 12, for example, for better results.

4) Eat more slowly.

This will help your stomach feel full faster, preventing you from wanting to eat more.
