The Amazing Health Benefits Of Lettuce
So first of all, while the recipe calls for these lettuce wraps to be topped with diced tomato… feel free to get creative. I mean, I personally love tomato, but if you don’t… feel free to leave it out.
You can also use other fresh veggies to top these buffalo chicken lettuce wraps. Cucumber… carrot… avocado… all would be delicious!
But you know what’s an integral part of this dish and definitely shouldn’t be left out? The lettuce!
(After all, they’re called lettuce wraps. 😉 )
And while lettuce might have a reputation as being kind of boring, since it’s such a staple of the weight loss world… it actually has some amazing health benefits.

How This Recipe Can Help You Lose Weight (The Easy Way…)
Part of the genius of this recipe is its simplicity.
You have the tangy, rich buffalo sauce… tender chicken… crisp lettuce… and really, the sky’s the limit as far as toppings go! (You KNOW mine is going to involve cheese…)
And even though it IS very simple… you’ll find that this recipe is also quite filling.
That’s because of the high protein content. (Thanks, chicken!)
Protein is well-known in the weight-loss world for helping you keep feeling full for longer… which means that overall, you’ll eat less throughout the day, while feeling like you had more than enough.
But did you know that research has also proven that just eating more protein also helps you lose more weight?
In fact, one study found that people who increased their protein intake by only 15-30% per day… burned an average of 441 more calories every day!
(And really, 15-30% is so doable… it could be something as small as one more buffalo chicken lettuce wrap! Plus, who doesn’t want to eat MORE in order to lose weight?!)
